Hope is a fundamental requirement for life. Without hope, we cannot face the uncertainty of life. In this series, we explore spiritual practices that help to build HOPE in each of our lives. Many of these practices are counter-intuitive and counter-cultural, but God has been using them for thousands of years to cultivate hope in his followers.

The final week of Jesus’ life was far from ordinary. In this three-part series, we take a trip into the Upper Room and the Garden with Jesus and his apprentices. We learn how Jesus repurposes an ancient meal and how to bless our captors and detractors like Jesus. Then in week three, John Wentz shares practical insight on hearing from God.

When Jesus was asked which commandments were the most important, he summed up the Old Testament by saying, “Love the Lord Your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and LOVE your neighbor as yourself.” In this series, we explore five real-world practices that we can use to B.L.E.S.S. our neighbors. (Begin with Prayer, Listen, Eat, Serve, Share our Story)

The last year has been rough. A virus (and our response to that virus) has wreaked havoc on our physical health, the economy, and friendships. With all the negativity in the air, it is easy to give in and let WORRY win the day. Jesus had a different idea. He lived and taught during a very tumultuous time, and he instructed his apprentices to “not worry.” In this series, we explore the roots of worry and offer some practical guidance on living with peace in uncertain times.
